  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and apple cider to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Allow the whoopie pies to cool before filling.
