Banana Pancakes

Delicious and easy banana pancakes that pair perfectly with turkey bacon for a wholesome breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the flour mixture to the mashed bananas, then mix in the milk, egg, and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. In another skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  7. Serve the pancakes warm with turkey bacon on the side.

Notes

  • For fluffier pancakes, don’t overmix the batter.
  • Serve with maple syrup or fresh fruit.
