  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat in the egg.
  4. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Take a spoonful of cookie dough, flatten it, add a dollop of cream cheese mixture, and cover with another spoonful of dough.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool before serving.
