Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A delicious and easy recipe for creamy, cheesy ranch potatoes paired with smoky sausage.

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the baby potatoes in half and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Slice the smoked sausage into rounds and add to the bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, olive oil, garlic powder, and sour cream.
  5. Pour the ranch mixture over the potatoes and sausage and toss until everything is well coated.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

  • For extra flavor, add chopped onions or bell peppers to the mix.
