Delicious homemade chocolate turtles that combine salted caramel, nuts, and rich chocolate for a decadent treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Melt the caramel candies with heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Drop a spoonful of toasted pecans onto parchment paper, then top with caramel.
  5. Once set, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled turtles.
  6. Let them cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use sea salt on top of the caramel before the chocolate.
  • These can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
