  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nuts for the topping.
  6. Fill muffin tins with batter and sprinkle topping on each muffin.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
