  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and Cajun seasoning, cooking until the chicken is browned.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot, sautéing until softened.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the orzo pasta to the pot and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing well until heated through and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
