  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced carrots and celery, and sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken broth gradually while stirring to avoid lumps.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream.
