  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add the browned beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
  4. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the beef.
  5. Layer the remaining potatoes on top.
  6. Mix beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then pour over the top.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  8. During the last 30 minutes, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
