A simple and delicious lasagna recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delightful twist on a classic dish.

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, then place three noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the turkey mixture, and a third of the mozzarella.
  6. Repeat layers and finish with remaining noodles, sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add vegetables like spinach or zucchini in the layers.
  • Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
