- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter among the muffin cups and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
