  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sugar together.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa, and salt; mix into the butter mixture until just blended.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  7. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  8. Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  9. Pour the cheesecake filling over the brownie layer and return to the oven for another 30 minutes.
