- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.
