  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread the cream cheese over it.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top and roll tightly.
  7. Slice the rolls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
