  • 2 pounds ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the loaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the meat mixture for a few hours or overnight.
  • Serve on pita bread with tzatziki sauce and fresh vegetables.
