  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, milk, oil, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  5. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  6. Once the cake is cool, spread the whipped cream over the top and decorate with fresh berries. Slice and serve.
