  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm the milk and butter until melted, then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and mix until dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough, spread cinnamon and brown sugar on top, and roll into a log.
  7. Cut the log into rolls and place them in a baking dish.
  8. Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Prepare icing and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh yeast.
  • You can add nuts or raisins if desired.
