  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
