  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  2. Add corn and shrimp; cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and season with Old Bay, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth, then return to pot.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and heat through. Adjust seasoning as needed.
