Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

A deliciously indulgent casserole that marries the flavors of classic mac and cheese with hearty meatloaf.

  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, cooked macaroni, onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, and seasonings.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños to the mixture.
