- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked macaroni, crumbled turkey bacon, sautéed onion and garlic, milk, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix in 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
