  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with baking cups.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, maple syrup, and melted butter.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed, then fold in chopped turkey bacon.
  5. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
