  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and place in a baking dish.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in chopped basil and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
