Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

These Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs are a delicious and comforting dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and shape the meat around it to form a ball.
  4. Repeat with the remaining mixture and cheese.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
  • Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices for extra flavor.
