  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the orange zest and vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in the flour and salt, then fold in the chopped cranberries.
  5. Roll the dough into logs and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 1 hour.
  6. Slice the logs into 1/4 inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
