Slow Cooker Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into small pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the chopped cabbage in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Spread the meat mixture over the cabbage.
  5. Top with the remaining cabbage.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
