  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  6. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the icing, mix powdered sugar with a bit of milk until desired consistency is reached and drizzle over the warm rolls.
