- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter, milk, and sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and softened butter and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add flour, salt, and cinnamon until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased pan and let rise again.
