  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
