- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
