  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Meanwhile, make the ganache by heating the cream and pouring it over the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
  10. Once cookies are cooled, drizzle ganache over the top or use it as a filling.

Notes

  • For a more intense chocolate flavor, add espresso powder to the dough.
  • Let the ganache cool slightly before drizzling for a thicker consistency.
