  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until combined.
  3. Roll the dough out and cut into rounds.
  4. Fill each round with a spoonful of filling and fold over, sealing the edges.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
